Pack Forest

Adopt-A-Trail Program

Pack Forest Trail

Adopt a trail is a volunteer program designed to give the general public an opportunity to be involved in preserving the access to our forest.Boy Scout Troop 238

Our trail system here at Pack Forest was established to offer availability to several types of user groups. We currently have 14.5 miles of off-road trails. There are 4.5 Horse & Mountain Bike trails; 6.5 miles of Hiker Only Trails, 1 mile of A.D.A. Accessible Trails; and 2.5 miles of Shared Use Trails.

Volunteers who Adopt-A-Trail will be trained on trail maintenance. Tools that are required will be provided by Pack Forest. When a trail is adopted a sign will be placed at the entrance of the trail with the name of the adopter(s).

We encourage families, scout troops, youth groups, schools, special interest groups and individuals to get involved. Our goal here at Pack Forest is to offer several educational services. We feel the knowledge gained in actively protecting and maintaining our natural resources is a reward in itself.
