Mount Rainier Institute has the unique advantage of being able to use two separate locations for programming. Mount Rainier Institute is physically located within the University of Washington's Pack Forest in Eatonville, Washington. It is here that the students reside in our historical cabins, share meals as a community, and engage in student centered field studies.
Mount Rainier Institute is also a proud partner of Mount Rainier National Park and feel our students benefit greatly from a day immersed in the National Park. It is here students discover the impact Mount Rainier has on their daily lives by investigating topics such as geology, weather, life zones, snow science, and the history of Mount Rainier National Park.
